Gawd seems to be having a serious problem. I have changed everything including the rubber feet on the cabinet and the problem persists. The next option requires a reconfiguration of the disk subsystems. Since Gawd remains highly unreliable at present, I am choosing to do this reconfig today. I expect this procedure to take around 10 hours and I'm going to begin at 6pm. What's this mean to you? It means Gawd, Kim, EEx$USERDISK and TE$USERDISK will be unavailable for use from 6pm today (5/6/91) until tomorrow morning. I don't know what is causing the problem, so this might not fix it. Since the system has had this problem off and on for about 2 years AND it shows up anywhere from every couple hours to once in 3 or 4 months, it may take awhile even to find out whether its fixed or not. Sorry if this presents a problem to anyone. ds
