Steel Talons PCB's

(1 / 2)

Mfg. is building some PCB's for us. Glenn and I met with Ken Williams and
Jim Buchannan this morning and agreed to help each other out toward the goal
of having Manufacturing Build AND test the PCB's. Up until our convseration
this morning, Mfg. was going to build them only (no test).

Mfg. is building 20 Multi-syncs, 40 DSIII's 36 DSPCOM's. 17 sets are for
Steel Talons, the rest are for other Engineering needs.

The PCB's will be assembled 7/3/91. I expect testing to begin in earnest 7/8.

Steel Talons needs (6) board sets completed and tested by 7/11/91 -
	           (2) for the (1) Dist. Sample game due week of 7/8
		   (4) for the NY intro show games due week of 7/15.
We will need the rest of the boards by 7/19/91.

Ken Williams is checking on what shortages Mfg. might have. Glenn will
have to fill the shortages. Areas for concern are:
		EPROMS
		GALS
PCB assy parts (Stand-offs, ribbon cables)
		PAT 9000 plug and Harness
		Test procedure
		2105's, ASIC 65's

self-test & Pat-9000

Jed,

When you get a chance today I need to talk to you about the latest
self-test roms and your suggestion for the Pat-9000 pin plug changes for testing
Steel Talons boards. I need to give Manufacturing this info by tomorrow morning
so that they can have the necessary time to program roms for the board sets that
Downend had just mentioned.

Glenn
