Hopefully we will have some definite direction from this input. The graphics decompression algorithms have been rewrtitten in assembler in order to spped up the decompression of backgrounds (thanks to Mike A. for his assistance). The code really screams now and as a result, the new map screens which look a lot better can be used. We are planning on swithcing over to the ADSP II board today or tomorrow and will be adding new graphics as a result. This may have to wait because of further control testing, or because we need some of Max's time to implement the banking required with the new scheme. The Audio group has been given a list of voice cues to implement. The new Galaxy background has been added to the game and looks great, as does the latest title screen. The first run of the Ring-of-Fire graphics has been done.
