aromrel.doc location

(1 / 4)

I worked with Jeff Bell today on the CER to reserve SAIIS audio board
programmed part numbers and he had me input "See Attached Document" instead of
the actual part numbers that you two want to use. What this means is that I
need to tell components where the AROMREL.DOC resides. Jed, Ed has created a
release directory called [LOGG.ACE.RELEASE] in which this file should reside.
If you like I can copy and edit it, and then have Ed copy it to the release
directory, or if you prefer you can edit it with the following info:

136087- 5001 512k eprom Audio program location 1F
      - 5002 1M eprom Adpcm loc 1M
      - 5005 1M eprom Adpcm loc 1R
      - 5006 2M eprom Adpcm loc 1M
      - 5007 2M eprom Adpcm loc 1N
      - 5008 4M eprom Adpcm loc 1M

If we eventually go to 4M eproms for Adpcm is there an existing Atari p/n or
will I need to request one, I look in the AVL and couldn't find one.

Thanks,
Glenn

I would prefer that you handle the AROMREL.DOC, especially the Audio Part.
Let me know when you want me to check it.

By the way, according to the latest and greatest Components Procedure,
Programmed parts do not go on the AVL and therefore do not need to be
reserved. (Maybe no one told Jeff.)

Jed

ps - on 4Meg EPROMs: I do not have a clue.

Ok, thanks. I'll copy the AROMREL.DOC into my own directory and edit it. I'll
let you see it when I'm done.

Glenn.
