There is a data base of vendors, manufacturers reps, distributors 
etc. on the VAX. It was originally compiled by Erwin Arvidson so a 
lot of the information is incorrect. Even still, I find it very 
useful. In order to maintain this file and keep the information up to 
date I have asked Jeff Bell to give all the hardware engineers 
(Including Applied Research) read/write access to the file.

The hope is that if you use it and find some incorrect information 
that you will take moment to edit it. I believe that Jeff sorts this 
file every night.

I use these commands to search and edit it.

$ V*ENDOR	:== SEARCH/NOHEAD mike$avl:[avl.vend]vend.lis
$ EV*ENDOR	:== edit /tpu  mike$avl:[avl.vend]vend.lis
