As luck would have it, one of only two LINK boards didn't work when I 
tested them!  But thanks to Jed's excellent communication test software,
and his help, I managed to fix it.

 Jed, the 75ALS195 was indeed ZAPPED!

Both board sets are tested and set-up, packed in static-sensitive bags 
, we couldn't come up with the production type interconnect harness due
to some problems with production.  So I've made-up a make shift harness
that'll do the job.  Rick Mcdowell is going to request them to return 
the link kit for a production version when it becomes available.
