I received another demo by Kea Systems named KEAterm. It's a VT420 (and under) emulator that uses a variety of communications protocol, including DECLAT. Actually this is not really a demo, but the real McCoy. This emulator is very, very good. Far better than the VT320 emulation that comes with Pathworks. You must have WINDOWS and PCSA 3.0 or Pathworks 4.0 to run KEAterm. If you would like to install this application on your machine you are most welcome to. But, remember that this is a demo and after your evaluation you MUST remove the app from your disk. The installation is not automatic, but it is not difficult either. I installed KEAterm and had it running in 5 minutes. I highlighted the installation procedures in the manual that accompanies the disk so that you will not have to fumble around in the manual looking for instructions. Please stop by and pick the manual and disk if you would like to try it out. After installation, please return both the manual and disk for others to install it. You really don't need the manual after installation as most procedures in KEAterm are self-explanatory and there is Context- Specific Help available. The prices are inside the front cover of the manual: $245 one copy, 2-9 15% discount, 10-? 20% discount. Site license available. If you would like to purchase this product maybe we should all get together and purchase them together for the discount. Site license starts at 20. - brad -
