Are you a C/W fan?  Do you recognize the name Garth Brooks?  Can you 
yell real loud?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you are invited to join
an already committed group of 15-20 Atarians and friends at the Saddle Rack in 
San Jose tonight at 8:00 pm.

Believe it or not, we have a celebrity amongst us.  Fame and fortune are just
around the corner for our very own Mark Pierce.  A group of us almost got Mark 
to go up to the stage during the AMOA juke box awards in Las Vegas to accept 
an award for Garth Brooks, but he said he didn't have the right hat.  So tonight
Mark will don his Stetson and get up on stage and sing about all of us friends 
he has in low places.

Yep, that's right!  The Saddle Rack is having a Garth Brooks look alike
contest and Mark is a dead ringer!  

Voting is by audience support.  That means we need lots of loud people
screeming and clapping.  So join us if you can (even if you didn't answer
yes to any of the questions above) it'll be fun.

That's 8:00 tonight, Wed. 10/23, The Saddle Rack, 1310 Auzerais (off Meridian
near San Carlos) in San Jose.  No cover charge.  Bring your friends!

Well.. 

	I just want to thank all of those who came
out and supported me in the ridiculousness of last nite
that I was somehow cajoled into. I came in second so Elaine 
wasn't totally wrong. Even though I am only now getting over the
fact that I won't be going to Hawaii all expense paid I will 
always look back on this as a high point in my life. Now that 
I have competed in a celebrity look-a-like contest I can go to 
my grave confident I have done it all.  

	Next week I understand they are having a Reeba MacItire
contest I wonder if I .........
