Holiday Food Drive

(1 / 3)

Starting today and continuing through December 16, Atari will be
sponsoring a holiday food drive in conjunction with Second Harvest
Food Bank. Second Harvest is dedicated to providing food and supportive
nutritional services to thousands of people in need in Santa Clara and
San Mateo Counties. Children, the elderly, the disabled and the many
unemployed comprise the majority of those receiving emergency food
assistance in our area. Second Harvest channels donations through
hundreds of non-profit agencies, shelters and churches. By involving
the community, Second Harvest strives to alleviate hunger.

In the true Atari spirit of generosity, we have set a company wide goal
of filling four barrels by December 16th (approximately 1,000 pounds) and
in addition, Atari management has agreed to match our food drive effort
with a $1,000 donation. Let's all "fill the barrel and feel the joy"
this holiday season and share the abundance we have with others who are
not as fortunate.

You can deposit you non-perishable donation in one of the barrels
located in the cafeteria (if you want some ideas on the types of foods
that are especially needed there will be a list posted at the coffee
stations).

HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

                         FOOD DRIVE UPDATE

TO DATE WE HAVE REACHED ABOUT HALF OUR 1,000 LB GOAL . . . BUT DON'T
WORRY IF THE FOOD DRIVE HASN'T BEEN A PRIORITY ON YOUR LIST. WE KNOW
THIS IS A VERY BUSY TIME OF YEAR AND WE DECIDED TO EXTEND THE FOOD
DRIVE TO THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19TH.

SO THIS IS THE LAST WEEKEND YOU HAVE TO CLEAN OUT THOSE OVER-STUFFED
CUPBOARDS AND IN DOING SO, YOUR BENEFIT IS MORE THAN JUST A TIDY
KITCHEN, IT'S KNOWING THAT SOMEONE THIS WINTER WILL NOT GO HUNGRY
BECAUSE OF YOU!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Holiday Food Drive

(3 / 3)

I just received the official thank you from Second Harvest Food Bank.
Through your generosity we collected 378 pounds of food during the
Holiday Food Drive. Your donation helped make the holiday season
brighter for many who would have otherwise been without, on their
behalf, please accept our thanks.
