EMPLOYEES IN NEED

(1 / 3)

For those of you who don't know, Rhonda Allen and Steve Williamson are Atari
employees who met at Atari, fell in love, and plan to be married this Saturday.
Sounds like a storybook romance and it has been until this past Tuesday at 2
a.m. when they were awaken by their dog barking and someone yelling "fire".

Everyone is fine, but their duplex was destroyed along with most of their
furniture and clothes. The wedding is still a go, and after some thought, so
is the honeymoon cruise.

Atari is making a donation to the couple to help them get on their feet again
and I am sure there are employees who would like to do the same. All monies
(checks should be made out to Atari Games) can be given to either
Melanie Martin (in building 735) or to the Human Resources Department. A list
of donors names, not the amount donated, will be given to the couple. If you
wish your gift to be anonymous, please let us know and we will honor your
request.

CONCERNED EMPLOYEES

(2 / 3)

JUST A NOTE:

Steve and I would like to thank everyone for not only the generous
contributions, but also the prayers. During our time of need, we
had many people volunteer personal possessions, along with time and
money. We can't thank all of you who contributed enough, we only
hope that someday we can repay "you" if you ever have a time of need.

On a lighter side, Steve and I are doing fine. We took the big
plunge and couldn't be happier with our decission of love and
companionship. We may have gone through a tragedy at the beginning
of our climb (
(The rest of our lives) but maybe this just means the "Seven year
ich" will be a piece of cake for us!

Once again, Thank you... our friends of Atari-land.

LEGAL HELP NEEDED

(3 / 3)

As you all may know Steve and I experienced a fire in our rental
unit in mid June. We have been doing the best we can at collecting
all that is needed to make it a clean sweep in court.

But... 2 weeks ago we confided in a lawyer in Santa Cruz (he was
recommended by a friend) who said he would take the case - well
his idea of payment (upfront) and our idea of payment (empty pocket-
books) obviously were different. But of course he had to wait 3 weeks
to tell us the above news.

Needless to say... We are looking for legal help in the matter.
Perhaps someone who has a specialty in "insurance claims" or "fire
claims" in general.  We would like to work on a contingency basis;
We think it's possible since we have the fire marshall and his report
on our side.

We would like to find someone as soon as possible and put this nightmare
behind us, so if anyone has any information that can help us - believe
me it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help.
