Mary, Rick and I have decided to use the 256K x 4 DRAMs (4 per) instead of the 128K x 8 DRAMs (2 per). The reason is that the 256K x 4 has several sources so we are less likely to get caught in a long leadtime crunch. I met Janell from Wyle today after having known her over the telephone for a long time. She is very nice. She has volunteered to get me samples of the 256K x 4 DRAMs from both TI and Micron. I hope that is ok. We will be using these parts in the DIP package. (The TI number is TMS44C256-12N; faster parts are ok) We will still be using the 128K x 8 VRAMs (TMS48C121-12DZ; faster parts are ok.) Missed you, Jed
