The parts list generator program for Viewlogic schematics is now available. To use it put into your login.com : $ BOM :== $ scicom:plist SCICOM should already be in your login. Type BOM /HELP for information about the switch options. You need to run the VIEWDATA portion on the PC first. See Art, Leon, Joe or me if you need help to get started. Here is the help information from the program. As always please report problems and bugs. Engineers. Use the /eng switch to generate a parts list format suitable for Tims COSTPL program using the MANPL option. The PLIST command format is : PLIST project assy#-version/rev (eg a012345-01a) optional : /add /create /eng /goto /help /keep='level' /local_xref /print /show='level' Only the first letter after the / is significant. project : The name of the project .bom file. assembly/rev# : The assembly number and revision of the parts list to create. The following switches are optional. /add : If the assembly is not fount in the .AO file, then add it. /create : If the .ao file is not found then create it. /engineer : produce engineering parts list only. /goto=n : Skip beginning procedures /help : this message. /keep='level' : What to do with temporary files level can be ALL SOME NONE or a number. /local_xref : do not copy or use the master plist_xref.dat file /print : print an existing pl on the documemntation printers. the project name is ignored. /show='level' : How much information to display on the screen. level can be ALL SOME NONE or a number.
