Art Jackson was taken to the hospital
last Sunday and we just received an
update on his condition.  They found
out he has pneumonia, and as soon as they
have that cleared up (which will probably
take 7-10 days) he will have back surgery.
He is in the El Camino Hospital, room 531B.
His wife said they are trying to limit visitors
because they have him heavily sedated.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.

Art had his back surgery last Wednesday, April 17th.
The doctor's ran into some complications but as far
as we know the surgery was successful.  He was put
into TCU (transitional care unit) for a few days aftr
the surgery but should be back in his room now.  His
wife said she'd call Pete Takaichi when he's ready to
have visitors.  His family expects he'll be released
from the hospital next week.

Just got an update on Art's condition.  The surgery
was a success, but he still has some fluid in his
lungs and has developed some blood clots.  He will
probably be in the hospital another 5-8 days.  But 
now at least he can have visitors.  If you'd like
