ACME video -- Tuesday 3/26 12:30 SHARP Central Conf. Room

(1 / 3)

I got 15 to 20 minutes of video with my "Spycam" at the ACME
show last week. Some of the highlights are:

Sonic Blast Man -- Taito -- Punching bag for input

Time Traveler -- Sega -- They called it a halogram, but
it is a laser disc game that has a mirror that
makes the image appear in space.

Simpsons Video -- Konami -- Great graphics (just like
the cartoon) but repetitive, old gameplay

If you want to stay a couple minutes longer, you can see the
new Excalibur Hotel.

ATARI AWARDS

(2 / 3)

We just returned from the ACME show where Atari Games received "Manufacturer
of the Year", awarded by AAMA (our amusement machine association). This
award was voted on by distributors and based on:

- Production, Quality, Reliability
- Marketing and Promotions
- Customer Support

It is the only award extended to any manufacturer and this represents the
second year in a row that Atari Games has received this top honor...they
have only been doing it for two years!

Also, during the ACME show, our Pit-Fighter game received a Platinum award
for sales achievement, given by the AAMA. Very few games ever reach this
level of achievement so again, it is quite a feat.

And lastly, we also received this week, a very impressive trophy for
STUNRUNNER, given by Game Player's magazine, as it was voted "best arcade
game of 1990"!

Congratulations to all employees for making Atari Game's achievements so
highly recognized in our industry. These awards, along with many others
received in past years, will be displayed in a newly-designed case that
will be mounted in our re-decorated lobby.

p.s. Not only did we receive some great awards at the show, but we
also had success in selling our newest games!

                                                              Mary
